Day One Down

I have to keep this short but I wanted to write you guys a quick update on my first day. We arrived in PAP- Port Au Prince at 8am and immediately got to work getting medical supplies ready to go to a refugee camp. At the refugee camp we handed out supplies to TONS of people. We had nurses with us who handled minor wounds and sicknesses. There were more people to help than we had hands for, so I had to learn how to give shots. OMG! This was huge for me. By the end of the day, I gave about thirty people shots. OMG!

Anyways, I have to run. Patrick, Ellen and I snuck over to the UN for dinner and some wifi. Have to head back to camp before it gets dark. CIAO!

  1. I checked with Tmobile and with Verizon and they both say it's TOTALLY FREE to call (send and receive)here and us there until Feb 14th. No calls will be charged. Text messages are supposedly free for Tmobile, but not for Verizon, although it's only 5 cents for me to receive a TM from you guys. Thanks for keeping us up to date. Wow - shots! Tell us more!
